Corrective Exercise Specialist (COMING SOON)

Corrective exercise is a specialized approach to movement therapy that addresses postural dysfunction, muscle imbalances, and compensatory movements. Practitioners identify these abnormalities in movement and prescribe exercises to correct them.

This method goes beyond general fitness training by identifying and correcting faulty movement patterns that could lead to pain, injury, or inefficient exercise. By using targeted exercises, a corrective exercise specialist helps clients move with more ease, efficiency, and safety.

Exercise Recovery Specialist (COMING SOON)

Exercise recovery specialists use their expertise in these areas to tailor recovery plans. These plans include specific exercises, nutrition tips, and recovery techniques. They may also include massage therapy or heat therapy.

As a recovery specialist, you’ll educate clients on injury prevention and optimal recovery. A holistic approach to recovery considers not just physical but also mental and emotional well-being. These include stress management, mindfulness, and sleep.

Methods like yoga or meditation can enhance relaxation and mental clarity. This approach encourages balance and self-care. These can be administered by a recovery specialist. Understanding and prioritizing more than just physical recovery promotes long-term health.

Health Coach (COMING SOON)

A health coach helps you set reasonable goals and develop a plan for reaching them. They also help you figure out what might keep you from reaching those goals. For example, maybe you don’t think you’re capable of making the changes your doctor is suggesting. Or maybe you don’t think any changes you make will matter. Perhaps you’re working two jobs and can’t imagine squeezing anything else into your day.

Your health coach helps you take a look at all the factors that might be affecting your health-related behaviors. And together, you come up with a manageable plan for working toward your goals.

Your health coach regularly checks in with you through email, phone, virtually or in-person meetings, usually over the course of at least three months. During these conversations, your coach asks questions to get you thinking about how you can overcome challenges.

Nutritionist

A nutritionist is a health professional who focuses on the relationship between diet and well-being, helping individuals tailor their diets to achieve specific health goals. They use their knowledge of nutrients and the body's response to them to guide individuals towards healthier eating habits and lifestyle choices. This can involve creating personalized meal plans, adjusting diets for specific conditions, or providing general dietary guidance.

Strength and Conditioning (COMING SOON)

Strength and Conditioning (S&C) encompasses a variety of exercises designed to improve physical performance and reduce injury risk. It's a multifaceted approach that goes beyond just lifting weights, incorporating elements like speed and agility training, plyometrics, and flexibility training. S&C programs are tailored to specific sports and individual needs, aiming to enhance strength, endurance, power, speed, and overall athletic performance.
